Video: Enjoying a Marrow Bone
Two words – good teeth! Not to mention a good 30+ minutes of a fully occupied, focused and satisfied canine. Get marrow bones of various sizes (2 inches up to 20) from a reputable butcher and make your dog very happy. Serve raw (uncooked) – this is the natural way dogs eat bones. (Cooking creates overly hard bones, creates splinters and can be too hard on teeth.) We’ve been serving these bones for many years without any trouble. We store them in the freezer to minimize gunk on the floor. Don’t worry, your dog will make sure there is very little gunk on the floor 🙂
