Reiki is an ancient system for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. Everyone including animals can learn Reiki. Reiki energy flows from a practitioner to a client. Reiki has an intelligence of its own and goes to the source of the problem – whether it is physical, mental or emotional. Reiki can heal people, animals, plants and even the environment. Reiki can treat many types of ailments including reducing pain and swelling, stress and depression, and helps with behavioral problems.
Reiki can also be used to send emotions to people or animals including courage, love and trust. Reiki can be used to communicate with lost pets. This is how I first became acquainted with Reiki when my cat, Rose, was missing. I was introduced to Jackie Rettberg, an animal communicator and Reiki master. She sent my cat theta healing and the courage to come home. Through her abilities Rose returned to me and I became a believer.
Animals can read your thoughts. If you want them to change behaviors, visualize them practicing the behavior you want, not the behavior you do not want. Do this while sending them Reiki. I am in the process of learning to become a Reiki practitioner to help improve communication with my cat and resolve some behavior issues too. One of really great benefits of Reiki is that when you send the Reiki healing energy you also receive it in the process.
