Review by Pam Marr Rybinski
Jodi Picoult readers who love dogs will be riveted by her newest novel, “LONE WOLF.” It is simultaneously a cliff-hanging tale of family mechanics and life-death strife, interwoven with the latest data on the mechanics of wolf packs.
It is the tale of the meaning of even the slightest movements of an alpha wolf’s tail, and of the lengths that a devoted human family will take to protect its own. The movement back and forth between the two types of family “packs” can be slightly off-putting. However, as with many of Picoult’s novels, this one entices you forward to the very last revelation. The book concludes with a source for more information about both living with wolves and about organ donations.
