Try these easy dog treats! Quite effective, and only 3 ingredients.
Want a quiet dog when the doorbell rings? Want a fantastic recall? Bake these easy treats and start practicing training. Your dog will work hard and learn fast for these!
I just got the recipe recently from my new K9 Nose Work instructor. She described them to me verbally, and it was no trouble to remember:
- 1 large can salmon
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup flour
Mix the ingredients into smooth batter. (There will be some fish chunks.) Grease 11″ x 7″ pan, lay mixture no more than ½ inch thick in pan, bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes. After your first batch, reconsider the pan size, temperature and cook time to your personal satisfaction.
It is no coincidence a scent expert recommended these to me – the scent of these treats intoxicates the dogs with a delicious aroma!
And, as with all good training treats, you can cut them small and not worry about over-feeding.
